Adrian Pasdar and Milo Ventimiglia to star in Iron Man and Wolverine anime shows

Marvel Television announced that Adrian Pasdar (“Heroes”, “Castle”, “Profit”)and Milo Ventimiglia (“Gilmore Girls”, “Rocky Balboa”, “Heroes”)will lend their voices to “Iron Man” and “Wolverine”, two new Marvel anime shows coming to G4. According to The Hollywood Reporter, “Black Swan” director Darren Aronofsky has decided to leave the sequel to “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”, “The Wolverine” . According to the site, the director felt that film production would have him out of the country for too long. Wolverine is sharpening his claws for movie #2. As reported by THR, Hugh Jackman will travel to Japan to film next January. Christopher McQuarrie’s script is good to go “and will be very different than the first film.” How different? Love story different. Electrix is reporting that Tim Pocock, who played a young Scott Summers/Cyclops in the summer smash “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”, spilled the beans that he’ll be reprising his eyebeam-wielding mutant role in 20th Century Fox’s upcoming planned “X-Men: First Class”. Written by Josh Schwartz, the film will reportedly be loosely based on the 2006 comic of the same name, which told new stories about the young original X-Men, as well as retelling classic early “X-Men” stories. Hugh Jackman and his Seed Productions partner John Palermo are in development to work on a sequel to “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”. The Seed partners have alreadybegun planning the sequel according to a report by Variety.com, which will spin off of the post-credits scene of the film that takes place in Japan. They indicate that they will be sticking with the Japanese and samurai-oriented history of the Wolverine character, an important part of the comic character’s backstory and his comic series. “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” director Gavin Hood recently sat down with Scifiwire.com and talked about a few things in his upcoming chapter of the X-Men film franchise.
