Prepare For A Double Dose Of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn

Twihards jump for joy and the rest, well, you’re kind of screwed because it’s official; Breaking Dawn will be divided into two films. Summit Entertainment confirmed the release date for the first of the two films, November 18th, 2011, as well as the cast and director for both. Bill Condon will be the man behind the lens and Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Billy Burke and the entire Cullen family back in front of it. Melissa Rosenberg will also return to pen both scripts as will Wyck Godfrey and Karen Rosenfelt to produce. New Line Picks Up Nutcracker Reimagining

New Line has picked up a pitch for a radically re-imagined version of the classic “The Nutcracker And The Mouse King” from writer Darren Lemke. Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey of Temple Hill Entertainment are producing the project, which puts the story in a more fantasy/action-adventure setting. Best known for Pyotr Ilych Tchaikovsky’s 1892 ballet adaptation, “Nutcracker” was actually written E.T.A. Hoffmann in 1816. The story is about a 12-year-old girl who is given a nutcracker doll by her grandfather one Christmas eve. Will Ferrell Heads Everything Must Go

Variety.com is reporting that Will Ferrell will star in Dan Rush’s “Everything Must Go”. Production will start in March on the project, which was written by Rush and is based on a short story by Raymond Carver. Ferrell will star as a man who not only loses his job, but he also ends up getting locked out of the house by his wife. She leaves all his belongings on the front lawn, and he spends the next four days trying to sell it all. Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey will be producing the film through Temple Hill Productions.
