The Hangover Part 3

The Hangover: Part 3 Could Be In Theaters In 2013, Stars Could Get Big Paychecks

Thursday, February 9th, 2012

The last “Hangover” film didn’t get a great critical review–in fact, it was all but panned by critics. Usually, the general audience can give a film a bit of a pass, but audiences hated this film, too. So why is another “Hangover” getting made? Probably because of huge box-office returns. That can only be the reason why another installment is being made. Due to the fact that “The Hangover” franchise is a big money maker, the stars of the film–Ed Helms, Bradley Cooper and Zach Galifianakis–are vying for more money for their time and energy. According to Slash Film, the actors are wanting $15 million each. The article sites The…

Puss in Boots

Puss in Boots Movie Review

Friday, October 28th, 2011

Title: Puss in Boots Director: Chris Miller Starring (voices): Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek, Zach Galifianakis, Billy Bob Thornton, Amy Sedaris, Constance Marie Puss in Boots takes the titular character introduced in the Shrek movie franchise and tells the adventurous feline’s story in 90 minutes of 3D animated glory. Yes, the animation executed by DreamWorks Animation is once again splendid and crisp. Do you need to shell out the extra cash for 3D ticket prices? Not at all. There’s plenty of scope in the traditional 2D screenings and the kiddies will be entertained just the same. The character is a cunning cat version of Zorro set in a screenplay that blends…

Everybody knows the story about Humpty Dumpty, but who knew he’d be a clever and devious little egg in the new DreamWorks Animation film “Puss in Boots.” Zach Galifianakis (“The Hangover,” “Bored to Death”) voices the cunning little egg in the spin-off origin story of sorts on the popular and furry “Shrek” character. Read on to see what Galifianakis says about his animated character and injecting a bit of personality into the yolk-filled character. The story takes place before Puss met Shrek and Donkey, when he was a swashbuckling hero who protected the innocent. A bunch of old pub thugs tell him that two murderous outlaws called Jack and Jill…

The Hangover Part 3 Might Involve A Mental Hospital Breakout

Wednesday, June 8th, 2011

According to CinemaBlend, “The Hangover Part III” might involve a little more ingenuity than “Part II”. According to the site via a story in the June 17 edition of Rolling Stone, one of the spoilers about the next film’s plot involves breaking Zach Galifianakis’ character out of a mental hospital. In the article, Galifianakis tells what he’s heard about the film. “According what he’s heard, the plot ditches the format of the first two and focuses on his character escaping from a mental institution with help from the wolf pack,” states the article. I would suppose that’s good news for “Hangover” fans who were disappointed by the second film. It…

The Hangover Part II Movie Review

Tuesday, May 24th, 2011

Title: The Hangover Part II Directed By: Todd Phillips Starring: Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, Justin Bartha, Ken Jeong, Paul Giamatti, Jeffrey Tambor, Mason Lee, Jamie Chung The second the trailer hit, we knew The Hangover Part II was basically The Hangover, but in Thailand. While simply recycling a storyline is generally a cause for concern, that’s really the point of this film, otherwise we’d be getting some sort of odd spinoff or no sequel at all. The Hangover Part II could have failed on just about every cinematic front as long as the boys experienced a drug-induced night of debauchery followed by a hilarious attempt at recovery. Unfortunately,…
