Nazneen Contractor And Joseph Gatt Join Star Trek Sequel

Tuesday, January 10th, 2012

I’m loving the casting news coming out about the “Star Trek” sequel. First Noel Clarke, next Benedict Cumberbatch (who is, according to benedictcumberbatch.co.uk, playing a villain that is probably not going to be a villain previously associated with the franchise–could the rumors be right in that he’s playing Q after all?), and now Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Nazneen Contractor from “24″ has been added to the casting roster. According to Entertainment Weekly, Contractor will play the wife of Clarke’s character. However, we still don’t know who Clarke is playing aside from someone who is being described as “a family man with a wife and young daughter.” Another actor joining…

That’s right! In only a year and a half from now, we’ll be sitting in a movie theater watching the sequel to the widely popular re-boot/re-launch of the “Star Trek” franchise. Along with the release date, an announcement of the sequel being released in 3D, which seems like a common practice these…

Margin Call Movie Review

Thursday, October 20th, 2011

Title: Margin Call Director: J.C. Chandor Starring: Kevin Spacey, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Irons, Zachary Quinto, Penn Badgley, Simon Baker, Demi Moore, Stanley Tucci Sure, it’s awful that we’re still suffering through financial gloom and doom, but, on the bright side, it does make movies like Margin Call all the more compelling. So perhaps that’s a lame attempt at staying optimistic, but if you do have the funds to drop on a weekend movie, it’ll do your hard earned cash some justice. It’s a rough day at the office, but, lucky for Peter and Seth (Zachary Quinto and Penn Badgley), they merely have to watch as co-worker after co-worker is ushered…

Margin Call Movie Review

Wednesday, October 19th, 2011

Title: Margin Call Director: J.C. Chandor Starring: Kevin Spacey, Paul Bettany, Zachary Quinto, Penn Badgley, Jeremy Irons, Simon Baker, Demi Moore, Stanley Tucci Margin Call is another tale showcasing the greed and mindset of Wall Street just a few years ago. This time though, the setting takes place during a 24-hour period when an investment bank learns that their actions may have caused terminal damage to not only themselves – but to the global markets as well. It’s a story that the majority of us already know as the broad strokes of the financial crisis have been depicted ad nauseum in recent flicks (more on those below). What this 105…

Kloeffler discussed his sexuality in a similarly subtle way while reporting on a story about Quinto on ABC World News Now. “I’m thinking I can lose my distraction about dating actors,” he said. According to The Huffington Post, this is the first time Kloeffler has discussed his sexuality on television. The anchor’s decision to mention his sexuality can be seen as a way to step up to the mark Quinto…

For any females who thought they had a chance with Zachary Quinto, you might want to sit down for this news. HollywoodLife has reported that Quinto said he’s gay in an interview with New York Magazine. Quinto brought up his sexuality when speaking about the his role in the play “Angels in America” and the discrimination the play deals with. “Doing that play made me realize how fortunate I am to have been born when I was born,” he said. “And to not have to witness the decimation of an entire generation of amazingly talented and otherwise vital men. And at the same time, as a gay man, it made…
