The Meddler’s Signed Poster Giveaway Encourages Mother and Daughter Bonding

With a new iPhone, an apartment near the Grove and a comfortable bank account left to her by her beloved late husband, Marnie Minervini (Sarandon) has happily relocated from New Jersey to Los Angeles. Marnie wants to spend more time with her daughter Lori (Byrne), a successful screenwriter, and smother her with motherly love. But her dozens of texts, unexpected visits and conversations that are dominated by unsolicited advice force Lori to draw strict personal boundaries. So Marnie finds ways to instead channel her eternal optimism and forceful generosity to change the lives of others, as well as her own, and find a new purpose in life.

In addition to Sarandon, Byrne and Simmons, the comedy-drama also stars Jerrod Carmichael, Cecily Strong, Lucy Punch, Casey Wilson, Michael McKean and Jason Ritter. The movie was written and directed by ‘Seeking a Friend for the End of the World‘ scribe-helmer, Lorene Scafaria.
