Just Say Goodbye Clip
(L-R): Actor Max MacKenzie and actress Katerina Eichenberger star in director Matt Walting’s teen drama, ‘Just Say Goodbye.’

Protecting themselves from physical and emotional abuse is one of the most important things people must learn throughout their lives. That lesson is especially essential for teenagers who are struggling to survive their relationships with their family and peers during their adolescence. That’s certainly true for actor Max MacKenzie’s character, Jesse Peterson, in the upcoming drama, ‘Just Say Goodbye.’ In honor of Leomark Studios distributing the film next Friday, May 10, in Los Angeles theaters and on VOD and DVD, ShockYa is premiering an exclusive clip from the feature.

The clip follows Jesse as he’s joined by his best friend, Sarah, who’s played by Katerina Eichenberger, in the school cafeteria during their lunch period. Sara’s upset to see that her friend has a bruise on his head, which he initially tries to claim he received from walking into his locker. But Sarah insists that she knows that his nemesis, Chase, who’s portrayed by Jesse Walters, is actually the one who’s responsible for the mark. So she encourages her friend to start defending himself from not only Chase, but also his father.

The award-winning coming-of-age movie was written by Layla O’Shea, and directed by Matt Walting. In addition to MacKenzie, Eichenberger and Walters, ‘Just Say Goodbye’ also stars William Galatis, Pamela Jayne Morgan, and Charlotte Cusmano Zanolli.

Leomark Studios has released the following synopsis for ‘Just Say Goodbye’:

After enduring years of abuse from his alcoholic father and the school bully Chase, Jesse tells his best friend Sarah that he plans on committing suicide. After promising to tell no one, Sarah finds it upon herself to try to stop him, taking any means necessary.
