In the movie adaptation of Suzanne Collins&#8217; hit novel &#8216;Catching Fire,&#8217; Mags will be shown as an eighty-year-old Hunger Games victor from District 4. She was also a former mentor to Finnick Odair, to be played by Sam Claflin.<\/p>\n<p>Cohen is known to New York theater audiences for decades of roles. She has also appeared in such acclaimed films as Steven Spielberg&#8217;s &#8216;Munich&#8217; and Charlie Kaufman&#8217;s &#8216;Synecdoche, NY.&#8217; She also was seen in the two &#8216;Sex and The City&#8217; films, and will next appear in &#8216;They Came Together&#8217; with Paul Rudd and Amy Poehler.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The Hunger Games: Catching Fire\u2019 follows Katniss Everdeen, played by Jennifer Lawrence, as she safely returns home to District 12. She\u2019s joined by fellow tribute and winner of the 74th Annual Hunger Games, Peeta Mellark, portrayed by Josh Hutcherson. They must leave their friends and family again to embark on a Victor\u2019s Tour of the districts.<\/p>\n<p>Along the way, Katniss learns there\u2019s a rebellion in the districts, which the Capital is in control of. President Snow is preparing for the 75th Annual Hunger Games, called The Quarter Quell, a competition that could change Panem forever.<\/p>\n<p>Cohen and the rest of the cast of \u2018The Hunger Games: Catching Fire\u2019 will be directed by Francis Lawrence.
