Kevin Smith and his audience on his summer movie appreciation show ‘Spoilers’ are sharing their thoughts on the new sci-fi action thriller ‘Total Recall,’ which hit theaters on Friday. In the new webisode, titled ‘Stiller? I Never Even Met Her,’ the director debates whether the remake, starring Colin Farrell, Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Biel, lives up to its hype. He also debated whether it compared to the 1990 film of the same name, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, it was based on.<\/p>\n

The ‘Total Recall’ webisode of ‘Spoilers’ will begin airing today exclusively on Hulu<\/a> and Hulu Plus. Special Guest Len Wiseman, who helmed the ‘Total Recall’ remake, stopped by the ‘Spoilers’ set in Universal CityWalk in Hollywood. The filmmaker, who previously directed Smith in ‘Live Free or Die Hard,’ was on hand to discuss his take on the classic film. Wiseman’s remake has only made $26 million domestically, against a budget of $125 million.<\/p>\n

Malin Akerman, the star of ‘Watchmen’ and ‘Rock of Ages,’ stopped by during today’s ‘Spoilers’ webisode as well. She was on hand to help Smith also discuss the sci-fi comedy ‘The Watch,’ starring Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn and Jonah Hill, which has been struggling at the box office. So far, the movie has only earned $25.3 million at the domestic box office, against a budget of $68 million.<\/p>\n

‘Spoilers,’ which is produced by SModCo, will air its last webisode next Monday. The webisode will feature Smith’s frequent co-star, Jason Mewes, as they discuss this week’s anticipated action thriller, ‘The Bourne Legacy.’<\/p>\n
