Cashmere is a former Career tribute from District 1 in Suzanne Collins\u2019 smash hit novel \u2018Catching Fire.\u2019 Along with her brother Gloss, played by recently announced cast actor Alan Ritchson, Cashmere will be competing in the 75th Annual Hunger Games, known as the Quarter Quell.<\/p>\n<p>Schlund is an Atlanta-based actress who has appeared on the Lifetime television dramedy &#8216;Drop Dead Diva.&#8217; She&#8217;ll next be seen in the upcoming Fox series &#8216;The Following,&#8217; which will debut this fall. She joins other recent additions to \u2018The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,\u2019 including Maria Howell as seeder, Bruno Gunn as Brutus, Meta Golding as Enobaria, Lynn Cohen as Mags and Jena Malone as Johanna Mason.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The Hunger Games: Catching Fire\u2019 follows Katniss Everdeen, played by Jennifer Lawrence, as she safely returns home to District 12. She\u2019s joined by fellow tribute and winner of the 74th Annual Hunger Games, Peeta Mellark, portrayed by Josh Hutcherson. They must leave their friends and family again to embark on a Victor\u2019s Tour of the districts.<\/p>\n<p>Along the way, Katniss learns there\u2019s a rebellion in the districts, which the Capital is in control of. President Snow is preparing for the 75th Annual Hunger Games, called The Quarter Quell, a competition that could change Panem forever.<\/p>\n<p>Schlund and the rest of the cast of \u2018The Hunger Games: Catching Fire\u2019 will be directed by Francis Lawrence.
