While the filmmaker was talking to the network during a press event for &#8216;Titanic&#8217;s home video release, with the Blu-ray and DVD hitting stores tomorrow, he said a fourth film in the &#8216;Avatar&#8217; franchise is a possibility.<\/p>\n<p>With producer Jon Landau saying the second and third &#8216;Avatar&#8217; movies being shot back-to-back, Cameron added that he hasn&#8217;t officially started writing &#8216;Avatar 4&#8217; yet. But the third sequel &#8220;basically goes back to the early expeditions of Pandora, and kind of what went wrong with the humans and the Na&#8217;vi and what that was like to be an explorer and living in that world.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Cameron added that &#8216;Avatar&#8217; showed the Na&#8217;vi 35 years into their colonization on Pandora. Making a prequel &#8220;is a logical thing to do because we&#8217;ll have completed the thematic arc by the end of three.
