Using a hybrid of sanctioned, celebrity and customized judging processes, The World Food Championships will identify winners in seven key categories of divisional cooking competitions, culminating in a Final Table face-off with celebrity food experts, including Adam Richman, star of the Travel Channel&#8217;s &#8220;Adam Richman&#8217;s Best Sandwich in America&#8221; and &#8220;Man v. Food: Nation,&#8221; presiding as the chief judge.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The WFC is excited to announce the addition of Grey Poupon as one of our primary sponsors,&#8221; commented Richman. &#8220;We are thrilled that they will be part of our World Sandwich Competition and help us deliver a<br \/>\nworld-class food experience for both consumers and competitors.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Grey Poupon is very excited to be the sponsor for the inaugural Sandwich Championship. Our Dijon mustard is a culinary-centric ingredient that serves as the perfect complement to a culinary-centric competition; we believe this is a great fit,&#8221; said Rebecca Daugherty, Business Manager Enhancers at Kraft Foodservice. &#8220;There is genuine artistry involved in crafting a delicious sandwich. The sandwich category provides the perfect platform for Grey Poupon to shine in the hands of sandwich artists. We expect to see and taste several championship caliber sandwiches!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The 2012 WFC categories will feature classic American cuisine: barbecue, chili, burgers, sandwiches, side dishes, a Champions Challenge featuring winners of online recipe contests, and a World Chef Challenge open to some of the best chefs from America&#8217;s greatest food cities.
