Get reacquainted with Wreck-It Ralph, the villain of the arcade video game Fix-It Felix Jr. and the title character of the upcoming 3D animated Disney comedy, in vintage Litwak’s arcade commercials. The spots include the 1982 commercial featuring the original Fix-It Felix, Jr. game; the 1997 commercial featuring Sugar Rush Speedway; and the 2012 commercial featuring Hero’s Duty.<\/p>\n
The ‘Wreck-It Ralph’ film follows the title character (voiced by John C. Reilly), the villain of the arcade video game Fix-It Felix Jr., in which the game’s title hero (Jack McBrayer) fixes a building that Ralph destroys. For over 30 years, Ralph has been doing the same job and has become tired of being the villain. He escapes from the game to prove that he can also be a hero and not just a villain.<\/p>\n
Ralph lands in Hero’s Duty, a light-gun shooter game where he helps the game’s hero, Sergeant Calhoun (Jane Lynch), battle against alien invaders, called Cy-Bugs. Ralph later enters Sugar Rush, a kart racing game set on tracks made of candy. There he meets Vanellope von Schweetz (Sarah Silverman), who has learned that her game is faced with a dire threat that can affect the entire arcade, which Ralph himself may have started.<\/p>\n
