Its exciting to be a part of it. It is a very funny script and a unique idea, so I wanted to be involved as a co-producer, as well as doing a cameo role within the film.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Gridiron UK,&#8217; which is based on a true story and will be released in Spring 2013, is set in 1985 in Crewe, Chesire, England. Eleven British men try-out for the newly formed American Football team, the Crewe Railroaders. Derek, played by Michael Dixon, bluffs his way into becoming the self assigned owner of the team. James, portrayed by Dorsey Levens, becomes the new coach of the team, even though he knows nothing about American Football. The team&#8217;s physiotherapist knows nothing about injuries, and the cheerleaders don&#8217;t know how to dance or cheer.
