Here’s another new movie clip from The Weinstein Company entitled “Conquest” from the upcoming comedy “Fanboys” by director Kyle Newman (The Hollow) and starring Sam Huntington (Superman Returns), Chris Marquette (Infestation), Dan Fogler, Jay Baruchel, Carrie Fisher, Jaime King, Seth Rogen, Kevin Smith, Danny Trejo and Kristen Bell (Heroes).<\/p>\n
Synopsis: “Fanboys” is set in 1998 and is about a group of “Star Wars” fanboy friends who decide to steal an early copy of “Star Wars: The Phantom Menace” from George Lucas’s Skywalker Ranch for a friend of theirs dying of cancer. Along the way they encounter villainous Star Trek fans and William Shatner, among other obstacles. The inclusion of the cancer-suffering friend was rumored to have ended up being cut from the film when it was rescheduled for the 2008 release, though director Kyle Newman, in July of 2008, did confirm that that plot point will be in the final cut of the movie despite rumors.<\/p>\n
