The &#8216;Heartbeat Slowing Down&#8217; singer allegedly wasn&#8217;t into the &#8216;I Knew You Were Trouble&#8217; starlet&#8217;s world, and ultimately hurt her. Since Ritter is a private person, he wasn&#8217;t into the glamor and attention like Swift was, so he ended the relationship.<\/p>\n<p>The two met in December 2011, between the time Swift dated Jake Gyllenhaal and Conor Kennedy, at the CMT Artists of the Year Awards. The All-American Rejects paid homage to her by singing her hit &#8216;Mean.&#8217; They ran into each other backstage, and Ritter started talking to Swift, and the two subsequently went on a few dates. After they ended the casual relationship, which included just hanging out at their Los Angeles homes, it&#8217;s believed she later wrote &#8216;I Knew You Were Trouble&#8217; about him.<\/p>\n<p>Ritter s now reportedly dating &#8216;Magic City&#8217; actress Elena Satine. He tweeted her to get her attention, and they&#8217;ve reportedly been dating since July.
