The second season of the popular spoof web series ‘Burning Love<\/a>‘ has premiered on Yahoo! Screen. The comedy series, which was created by Erica Oyama and spoofs dating shows, is produced by Ben Stiller’s Red Hour Digital and Abominable Pictures.<\/p>\n

‘Burning Love’s second season follows Julie (June Diane Raphael), who failed to capture Mark Orlando’s heart during the first season, as she searches for love among a new group of men. Not all the men are on the show for the right reasons, however.<\/p>\n

The second installment of ‘Burning Love’ was written by Oyama and directed by Ken Marino. The current season features such new cast members Jerry O’Connell, Michael Cera, Adam Brody and Colin Hanks, who join returning members Marino, Raphael, Michael Ian Black and Adam Scott. New episodes will air every Thursday and Friday.<\/p>\n

‘Burning Love’s first season aired last summer to critical acclaim. Nearly 11 million people watched the season since its launch on Yahoo! Screen. The season followed fireman Mark Orlando (Marino) in his search for the right woman to marry, or to at least be engaged. Such comedic actors as Stiller, Malin Akerman, Kristen Bell, Ken Jeong, Abigail Spencer, Noureen DeWulf and Paul Scheer were featured throughout the season.<\/p>\n

Media planning and buying agency PHD is the exclusive sponsor of ‘Burning Love’s second and third seasons. PHD bought all of the advertising space for the series, and place several of their clients within the show via product integrations for such brands as Breathe Right and Tums Freshers.<\/p>\n
