“The Amazing Spider-Man 2” has already seen its share of stars sign on, what with Jamie Foxx set to play Electro and Paul Giamatti as The Rhino. But is there any room left for the likes for Chris Cooper?<\/p>\n

According to Coming Soon<\/a>, Cooper has signed on to play Norman Osborn in the upcoming sequel. As to what exactly Cooper will be doing has yet to be released; with so many villains, it would be almost overkill for Osborn to immediately become the evil Green Goblin. But, according to Coming Soon, Oscorp was already a big part of the first “Amazing Spider-Man,” so you never know; perhaps The Green Goblin will be in league with The Rhino and Electro. This is conjecture, but it could be neat to see The Green Goblin in a more nefarious Joker-like role. We’ll see once the film comes out. Osborne’s son and Peter Parker’s friend, Harry, will be played by Dane DeHaan. <\/p>\n

“The Amazing Spider-Man 2” stars Andrew Garfield, Felicity Jones, Colm Feore and Martin Sheen. The film will be in theaters May 2, 2014.<\/p>\n
