\"KristinWith the immense and ever-increasing success of the \u201cVeronica Mars\u201d movie Kickstarter campaign<\/a>, we were bound to get more projects pledging to try to achieve the same.<\/p>\n

While talking with HitFix<\/a> about hitting it big with \u201cVeronica Mars\u201d through crowd funding, show creator Rob Thomas dropped the bomb for \u201cPushing Daises\u201d creator, Bryan Fuller. When asked about how his success may effect the industry and fellow producers, Thomas explained, \u201cI did get an email from Bryan Fuller earlier today saying, ‘Hey, can you jump on the phone with me at some point? I know you’re busy, but I would love to talk to you about how this thing works.’\u201d Thomas added, \u201cAnd I know it was specifically for \u2018Pushing Daisies.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

The former ABC show focused on Lee Pace\u2019s Ned, a pie-maker with the ability to bring the dead back to life with a simple touch. Kristin Chenoweth co-starred as Olive Snook, a waitress at Ned\u2019s restaurant, \u201cThe Pie Hole,\u201d and, while promoting her upcoming film, \u201cFamily Weekend,\u201d she weighed in on the possibility of getting a \u201cPushing Daises\u201d movie fired up via Kickstarter.<\/p>\n
