With indie rock currently typecast as the \u201ccool\u201d and \u201chip\u201d genre nowadays, the aggressive side of rock isn\u2019t garnering the appreciation it well-deserves. Hard rock has a taxing job of delivering songs that have just the right balance between vocal and instrumental liberty and restraint that they are not considered to be indie or too metal. So, don\u2019t neglect the genre just because the artists aren\u2019t donning the latest wayfarer and suspender trend or an all black get up. Hard rock has more to give and the New York City outfit, Eve To Adam, has solidified that with the lyric video for their current single, \u201cStraitjacket Supermodel<\/a>\u201d. <\/p>\n

With its intriguing title, Straitjacket Supermodel\u2019s lyrical, vocal and instrumental arrangements compare and contrast well with one another, which successfully enables the single to combine elements of alternative rock and metal without fully submersing into either\u2019s distinct sound; it ideally rides that fine line. The tune, which is off of the band\u2019s forthcoming album, \u201cLocked and Loaded\u201d, is now available on iTunes<\/a>. Produced by David Bassett, Eric Bass and Elvis Basket, \u201cLocked and Loaded\u201d is the follow up to 2011\u2019s \u201cBanquet For A Starving Dog\u201d and will drop on May 21st. <\/p>\n
