In fact, from my opinion, it seemed like a film that really didn&#8217;t have that much to say in terms of carrying on the Pixar brand of deeply moving, yet high entertaining films. <\/p>\n<p>After a slew of sequels, it would seem that Pixar is finally getting back to what we fans want from them (and what they initially promised us). <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cinemablend.com\/new\/Pixar-Scaling-Back-Sequels-Re-focusing-Original-Stories-38274.html\">CinemaBlend<\/a> is reporting that Pixar will be significantly scaling back their amount of sequels in order to focus more on original films. <\/p>\n<p>Pixar Animation Studios and Walt Disney Animation President Ed Catmull told <a href=\"http:\/\/www.buzzfeed.com\/adambvary\/pixar-chief-studio-to-scale-back-sequels-aim-for-one-origina\">Buzzfeed<\/a> that the company will get back to their artistic roots:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;For artistic reasons&#8230;it&#8217;s been really important that we do an original film a year,&#8221; he said. &#8220;Every once in a while, we get a film where we want or people want to see something continuing in that world&#8211;which is the rationale behind the sequel. They want those characters, which means we were successful with them. But if you keep doing that, then you aren&#8217;t doing original films.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s great, but there is just one sequel I and plenty of other Pixar fans have been demanding for years&#8211;a sequel to &#8220;The Incredibles.&#8221; This is really the only sequel the fans want. As for other sequels, like &#8220;Finding Dory,&#8221; I could take or leave. <\/p>\n<p>What do you think about Pixar getting back to what made them great?
