Machinima and Paramount Pictures&#8217; Insurge Pictures will bring it to you! <\/p>\n<p>The two companies are going to bringing to have announced a cool partnership on a brand new web series called &#8220;Chop Chop.&#8221; The web series is created by Josh Baizer and Marshall Johnson (\u201cMortal Kombat: Legacy\u201d), and produced by the Bandito Brothers (\u201cAct of Valor\u201d), former Red Wagon Exec Josh Weinstock, and Elliott Lester (\u201cBlitz\u201d), &#8220;Chop Shop&#8221; is being billed as an &#8220;an epic, edge-of-your-seat action series that explores the world of underground black market car theft.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s more about &#8220;Chop Shop,&#8221; directed by Elliott Lester:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;&#8216;Chop Shop&#8217; is packed with intense heists and white-knuckled car chases, based in the gritty streets of Los Angeles.  It follows the story of two professional car thieves who find their close friendship tested, and their loyalties pushed to the limit when one ultimately betrays the other.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Machinima will be the exclusive distributor of the Paramount Insurge web series through their cross platform networks including YouTube, Mobile (iPhone, Android, etc), and Xbox app, along with other platforms. <\/p>\n<p>Amy Powell, President of Insurge Pictures, talked more about the show. &#8220;Machinima is a true leader in the next generation of video entertainment, and we are thrilled to partner with them on \u2018Chop Shop\u2019,&#8221; said Powell. \u201cOur enormously talented creative team has come up with an exciting new digital series which thanks to Machinima\u2019s incredible reach, will be available across a wide variety of platforms for the audience to sit back and enjoy wherever they may be.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs Machinima continues to break new ground in content development, creation, and distribution, this partnership is a testament of our ongoing pursuit to deliver our fans exactly what they want,\u201d said Aaron DeBevoise, EVP of Network Programming at Machinima.\u201dInsurge has outdone itself with &#8216;Chop Shop\u201d.
