“Evil Dead” scared audiences in the movie theaters and this fall, it’ll scare patrons at annual Halloween fest, Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights. <\/p>\n
Universal is partnering with Sony Pictures Home Entertainment to recreate an authentic horror experience that will immerse fans in the terror of the cult classic remake. The movie-themed maze will have guests face off against demonic evil. Elements of the maze includes the mysterious passage that releases the evil force, possessed victims (including the film’s starring character “Mia”). Guests will have to do make their best effort to escape. <\/p>\n
The director of this year’s “Evil Dead”, Fede Alvarez, said, \u201cI\u2019m thrilled with how popular \u2018Evil Dead\u2019 has become with horror fans, and it\u2019s exciting that it\u2019s coming to life at Universal\u2019s Halloween Horror Nights. Just like the film, this haunted maze is going to be over-the-top, in-your-face and completely outrageous \u2013 and I can\u2019t wait to see it.\u201d<\/p>\n
Michael Aiello from Universal Orlando’s Entertainment team also talked about the upcoming maze. \u201cThe Evil Dead series is iconic, and this latest film has set the scare factor to 11.
