British actor Mem Ferda has joined horror icon Dee Wallace to hunt ghosts in the Missouri State Penitentiary for the upcoming horror thriller, ‘Apparitional.’ Ferda, who is also serving as an associate producer on the film, has said he’s “pleased to have joined such a talented group of individuals” on the project, which also includes writer-director Andrew P. Jones.<\/p>\n
Ferda, who is producing ‘Apparitional’ with Jones, has described the film as being frightening. He added that filming at the penitentiary had the “added benefit of fusing thrills and suspense into the story.”<\/p>\n
‘Apparitional,’ which was shot in Jefferson City, Missouri, as well as several other locations, is currently in post-production. The film, which also stars Linara Washington, Charley Koontz, Jeffrey Johnson and John Zderko, follows several ghost hunters. The group hopes to document real life spirits in the old, closed prison, which has a murderous history. Some of its past has come back from the dead to haunt the film crew.<\/p>\n
