The three Inderlanders  work on their working\/living arrangements while trying to solve the mystery of  a string of grisly murders of Ley-Line Witches.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Arial\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Arial\">Rachel survives Werewolf attacks, encounters a Demon (summoned by her boyfriend \u00e2\u20ac\u201c a human) and gains the attention of Master of the City, Piscary.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Arial\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Arial\">The continuity and action of the books are growing,  the characters are developing in complexity \u00e2\u20ac\u201c and believability.  Rachel\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s view of morality is drawn into question when the only way she can save her own hide and those of her friends involves the use of Ley lines, which often calls for blood.  Earth witches don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t use Ley line magic\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6. Unless they are willing to take the smut into their own auras.
