Paramount Pictures has released posters of Ron, Champ, Brian and Brick for the anticipated sequel to the 2004 cult classic, &#8216;Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy.&#8217; The follow-up, which is set to be theatrically released on December 20, was co-written by star Will Ferrell and director Adam McKay, who helmed the original film.<\/p>\n<p>Paramount Pictures has released the following synopsis for &#8216;Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues&#8217;:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\nWith the 70&#8217;s behind him, San Diego&#8217;s top rated newsman, Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell), returns to the news desk in &#8216;Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.&#8217; Also back for more are Ron\u2019s co-anchor and wife, Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate), weather man Brick Tamland (Steve Carell), man on the street Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd) and sports guy Champ Kind (David Koechner)-All of whom won\u2019t make it easy to stay classy\u2026while taking the country&#8217;s first 24-hour news channel by storm.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>For more information on &#8216;Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues,&#8217; visit the film&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.AnchormanMovie.com\/\">official website<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ronburgundy\">Facebook<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/anchormanmovie\">Twitter<\/a> pages.
