During the summer his horror film &#8220;The Conjuring&#8221; ripped through the box office as an unexpected hit film. A few months later, &#8220;Insidious: Chapter 2&#8221; raced to the top of box office charts. Next year, he&#8217;s positioned to be at #1 again with &#8220;Fast &#038; Furious 7.&#8221; Although James Wan is not attached to direct, &#8220;Insidious: Chapter 3&#8221; is likely to be another high grosser for the Australian director\/producer.<\/p>\n<p>The third installment in the \u201cInsidious\u201d horror franchise received a favorable release date for April 3rd, 2015. At the moment, the only other major motion pictures opening against &#8220;Insidious: Chapter 3&#8221; is the sci-fi romance &#8220;Passengers&#8221; starring Keanu Reeves and Rachel McAdams. Guillermo del Toro&#8217;s &#8220;Crimson Peak&#8221; is slated to open sometime in April 2015.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s interesting to note that &#8220;Insidious: Chapter 3&#8221; will be released as a Focus Features movie, instead of a FilmDistrict film, like the previous two films in the series.
