Sosie Bacon, daughter of famed actor Kevin Bacon, was chosen to be Miss Golden Globe and honored recently at a luncheon at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Even at the age of 21, Sosie Bacon has acted in a number of things including her father\u2019s movie \u201cLoverboy\u201d, and her Mother’s TV show \u201cThe Closer\u201d. Miss Golden Globe is selected from among a list of potentials from notable families and helps hand out awards during the ceremony, which Bacon performed beautifully on the big night. Moet Golden Night<\/b><\/p>\n

Made to celebrate the glamour and glitz of the awards season, Moet Golden Night is a decidedly sophisticated cocktail of cardamom syrup, pear brandy, and Moet & Chandon Imperial Burt Champagne\/ Garnished with a \u201cfan\u201d of fresh pear slices, this cocktail is the perfect sipper to toast the festivities.<\/p>\n

Makes: 6 Cocktails.
\nTotal Time: 25 min<\/p>\n

INGREDIENTS
\n1\/4 cup unrefined granulated sugar
\n1\/4 cup water
\n20 whole cardamom pods, crushed using the back of a knife or mortar and pestle
\n1\/4 cup pear brandy
\n1 (750 ml) chilled Moet & Chandon Imperial Burt Champagne
\n2 small ripe Forelle or Seckle pears, for garnish<\/p>\n

Directions:
\nCombine sugar, water and cardamom and reduce into a simple syrup. Let cool. Strain and add pear bandy, stir to combine. Add 4oz chilled champagne to each glass and garnish with pear slice.<\/p>\n
