Love is in the air–it’s almost time for Valentine’s Day! With the romance movies coming our way this February, Warner Bros.’ latest film, “Winter’s Tale,” has released its newest trailer. The film combines the desire for true love with mystery and the supernatural and perfect for date night with your boyfriend (or, if you’re a single girl, girls’ night out). <\/p>\n
“Winter’s Tale” is directed by Akiva Goldsman, with the screenplay by Goldsman. The film, based on the Mark Helprin novel, stars Colin Farrell, Jessica Brown Findlay, Jennifer Connelly, William Hurt, Eva Marie Saint, Russell Crowe, Ripley Sobo and Mckayla Twiggs. Set in a mythic New York City and spanning more than a century, \u201cWinter\u2019s Tale\u201d is a story of miracles, crossed destinies, and the age-old battle between good and evil.<\/p>\n
The film stars Colin Farrell (\u201cTotal Recall\u201d), Jessica Brown Findlay (TV\u2019s \u201cDownton Abbey\u201d), and Oscar\u00ae winners Jennifer Connelly (\u201cA Beautiful Mind\u201d), William Hurt (\u201cKiss of the Spider Woman\u201d), Eva Marie Saint (\u201cOn the Waterfront\u201d) and Russell Crowe (\u201cGladiator\u201d). \u201cWinter\u2019s Tale\u201d also introduces young newcomers Ripley Sobo and Mckayla Twiggs (both from Broadway\u2019s \u201cOnce\u201d).<\/p>\n
The film marks the directorial debut of Academy Award\u00ae-winning screenwriter Akiva Goldsman (\u201cA Beautiful Mind\u201d), who also wrote the screenplay, based on the acclaimed novel by Mark Helprin.<\/p>\n
Goldsman is also producing the film with Marc Platt (\u201cDrive\u201d), Michael Tadross (\u201cSherlock Holmes\u201d) and Tony Allard (Showtime\u2019s \u201cThe Baby Dance\u201d). The executive producers are Kerry Foster and Bruce Berman.<\/p>\n
