Godzilla gets cute and cuddly (sort of) in a brand new Snickers commercial. The commercial, which aired during the live telecast of the Academy Awards, featured a much smaller-sized Godzilla partying it up with his best (human) buds, doing the things that bros do when hanging out. But things get bad when he’s hungry, because even Godzilla gets “hangry” when his stomach’s empty. <\/p>\n
The juxtaposition between a happier Godzilla and the Godzilla promised in the Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures film (which was advertised at the end of the commercial) is interesting, and i almost wonder if the commercial slightly undermines all the might and scary awe that the film’s trailer and posters have teased. But in any case, it’s a cute commercial and brings the point home that when you’re hungry, you need to get something satisfying so you don’t turn into an angry monster. <\/p>\n
