‘Nymphomaniac: Volume II’ is preparing for its theatrical release with the debut of its official U.S. trailer, which premiered exclusively on Hulu<\/a>. The trailer, which is accompanied by the drama’s U.S. poster, were released to coincide with the sequel’s distribution into theaters on April 4 by Magnolia Pictures.<\/p>\n

The movie is a follow-up to writer-director Lars von Trier’s recently released first film in the series, ‘Nymphomaniac: Volume I.’ It stars Charlotte Gainsbourg, Stellan Skarsg\u00e5rd, Stacy Martin, Shia LaBeouf, Jamie Bell, Willem Dafoe, Uma Thurman, Hugo Speer, Mia Goth and Jean-Marc Barr.<\/p>\n

The ‘Nymphomaniac’ films tell the sexual odyssey of self-professed sex addict, Joe (Gainsbourg), and her hidden erotic desires. The story spans her life story from childhood to age 50. Since her girlhood, Joe has been drawn to casual sex. Seligman (Skarsgard) is a Good Samaritan who takes Joe in after finding her brutalized in the street. She recounts her erotic experiences to him, including how Jerome (LaBeouf) was asked if he would her of her virginity. Joe also remembers how Mrs. H (Thurman), a wife and mother, was crushed when Joe slept with her husband, Mr. H (Speer).<\/p>\n
