Leonardo DiCaprio has reportedly bowed out of the Steve Jobs biopic penned by The Social Network\u2019s Aaron Sorkin, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. DiCaprio\u2019s exit isn’t a first for the project that was first picked up by Sony in 2011. Director David Fincher decided to leave after he was said to have been denied marketing control and $10 million dollars. Sony has since reached out to Danny Boyle to helm the feature.<\/p>\n
DiCaprio\u2019s possible involvement with the film was first announced back in April. Instead DiCaprio will reportedly take a break from acting after he wraps up filming on the 2015 thriller The Revenant with director Alejandro Gonz\u00e1lez I\u00f1\u00e1rritu. The studio is also eyeing actors such as Ben Affleck, Bradley Cooper, Christian Bale (who is back in the running), and Matt Damon to bring the biopic to the big screen. The project is based on the biography entitled ‘Jobs’, written by Walter Isaacson. The project would be the second biopic to channel the life of the Apple genius.
