Strange animal attacks put a community in fear in “Late Phases.” The film, directed by Adri\u00e5n Garc\u00eea Bogliano (“B is for Bigfoot” short in “The ABCs of Death”) and written by Eric Stolze is the latest thriller from Dark Sky Films. The film stars Nick Damici (“Stake Land,” “Cold in July,” “We are What We Are”), Ethan Embry, Lance Guest, Erin Cummings, Rutanya Alda, Tina Louise, Caitlin O’Heaney, Karen Lynn Gorney, Dana Ashbrook and Tom Noonan and focus on a war veteran who is forced to move to a retirement community, only to find that the community is besieged by mysterious creatures. <\/p>\n
“Crescent Bay is not the ideal place to spend one’s golden years, especially since the once-idyllic retirement community has been beset by a series of deadly animal attacks from the ominous forest surrounding it. When grizzled war veteran Ambrose McKinley (Nick Damici) is forced into moving there by his yuppie son Will (Ethan Embry), the residents immediately take offense to Ambrose’s abrasive personality.
