The trailer for the highly-anticipated “Sherlock Holmes”, featuring Robert Downey, Jr., as the world famous detective from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s literary works is up and online now. You can check out the trailer is a variety of forms right here<\/strong><\/a>, courtesy of Yahoo Movies. <\/p>\n

The film follows Holmes and Watson as they tackle the case of the murderous Lord Blackwood, who vows to return from the grave and destroy all of London, after being caught by Holmes and hung for his crimes.<\/p>\n

“Sherlock Holmes”, directed by Guy Richie and starring Robert Downey Jr as Holmes, Jude Law as Holmes’s faithful friend Watson, Rachel McAdams as the mysterious Irene Adler, and Mark Strong as the Satanist and occultist Lord Blackwood, hits theaters Christmas Day 2009.<\/p>\n
