There’s so much confusion and embarrassment surrounding the failed Sony film, “The Interview,” and as was stated last week, Sony issued a statement that they would not release the James Franco-Seth Rogen comedy. But now, states Hollywood.com<\/a>, Sony is walking back their original statement, now telling the public that the film will be out, but details are still forthcoming. <\/p>\n

Sony’s lawyer, David Boies, said on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that Sony will release the film, just not now. “Sony only delayed this,” he said. “Sony has been fighting to get this picture distributed. It will be distributed. How it’s going to be distributed, I don’t think anybody knows quite yet. But it’s going to be distributed.”<\/p>\n

This statement comes after President Obama gave his opinion on the matter, saying that Sony “made a mistake” by revoking the film from theaters. The cancellation itself comes after hackers, who had already released tons of private (and embarrassing) emails to the public, stated that there would be attacks on the level of Sept. 11 if “The Interview” was screened in theaters. <\/p>\n
