“Selma” is one of the films to watch as we head out of 2014 and into 2015. Unfortunatley, we can’t say that the times of brutality against black Americans is over, and you can very well see how much the history of the past still haunts the our actions and thoughts today. <\/p>\n
John Legend and Common evoke these same sentiments in the lyric video for “Glory,” the song they created for “Selma.” The song has been nominated by the Golden Globe Awards and the Critic’s Choice Awards as Best Original Song and Best Song, respectively. The African-American Film Critics Association Awards has also nominated it for Best Music. <\/p>\n
