“Project Almanac” looks to get teenagers in on the allure of time travel films like “Primer.” The fact that it could be labeled as “Primer” for kids could be a good thing or a bad thing (if we’re judging on some of the sci-fi fans that are out there), but if there’s something the clips make an effort to show is that “Project Almanac” is hoping to be true to as scary and mind-bending as the time travel genre can be. <\/p>\n

The film stars Jonny Weston, Sofia Black-D\u2019Elia, Sam Lerner, Allen Evangelista and Ginny Gardner. The film focuses on a student and his friends who find blueprints for a time machine. At first, the machine is cool, since they go back in time and reverse embarrassing moments, win the lottery and make better lives for themselves.
