‘Minuscule: Valley of the Lost Ants,’ which was written and directed by H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Giraud and Thomas Szabo, is a unique family animated film in the fact that it features almost no dialogue. Described as a mix between ‘Wall-E’ and ‘A Bug’s Life,’ the movie features the ants communicating solely through a synchronized soundtrack. The score includes music and sound effects that tell the tale of the ants’ journey. Richard Dreyfuss offers the story’s lone voice through his narration for the North American version of the film.<\/p>\n
‘River Chase’ features two rival tribes of ants, as well as a young ladybug who’s innocently caught between their battle, as they embark on their expedition on an abandoned picnic basket and beverage can. As the group speedily travels down a river on their new-found lifelines, the ants realize they must work together in order to survive and return to safety on dry land.<\/p>\n
Set in a peaceful little clearing, ‘Minuscule: Valley of the Lost Ants’ showcases how the remains of a picnic hastily abandoned spark warfare between two tribes of ants. A bold young ladybug finds himself caught in the middle of the battle. He befriends one of the black ants, Mandible, and helps him save the anthill from the assault of the terrible red ant warriors, led by the fearful Butor.<\/p>\n
