Road Warrior “Mad” Max Rockatansky is determined to escape his turbulent past and survive his time in the Wasteland during the apocalypse in the new ‘Retaliate’ trailer and George Miller featurette for the upcoming thriller, ‘Mad Max: Fury Road.’ The clips were released to support the fourth installment in the ‘Mad Max’ franchise, which is set to debut in theaters nationwide on May 15, 2015.<\/p>\n
‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ was directed by Miller, who also helmed, wrote and produced the series’ first three entries. The filmmaker also co-wrote the upcoming movie with Brendan McCarthy and Nico Lathouris.<\/p>\n

Haunted by his turbulent past, Mad Max believes the best way to survive is to wander alone. Nevertheless, he becomes swept up with a group fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by an elite Imperator, Furiosa. They are escaping a Citadel tyrannized by the Immortan Joe, from whom something irreplaceable has been taken. Enraged, the Warlord marshals all his gangs and pursues the rebels ruthlessly in the high-octane Road War that follows.<\/p>\n
Tom Hardy stars in the title role in ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’\u2014the fourth in the franchise’s history. Oscar winner Charlize Theron stars as the Imperator, Furiosa. The film also stars Nicholas Hoult as Nux; Hugh Keays-Byrne as Immortan Joe; Nathan Jones as Rictus Erectus; Josh Helman as Slit; collectively known as The Wives, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is Splendid, Riley Keough is Capable, Zo\u00eb Kravitz plays Toast, Abbey Lee is The Dag and Courtney Eaton is Fragile.
