An all-new high energy routine is dancing into the lineup of Universal Studio’s Halloween Horror Nights. The world-famous hip hop dance crew, the Jabbawockeez, is creating an original show exclusively for the 2015 edition of the annual three-dimensional world of terror event, which will begin on Friday, September 18. The routine will feature gravity-defying choreography, stunning special effects, pulse-pounding music and the Jabbawockeez’s intricate synchronized style, signature white masks and unique brand of humor.<\/p>\n
The Halloween Horror Nights show will mark the award-winning hip hop dance group’s introduction into horror-themed entertainment. The Jabbawockeez’s routine, which will take place at Universal Studio’s Castle Theatre venue, will be performed multiple times per night throughout the event.<\/p>\n
“The Jabbawockeez are the perfect complement to Halloween Horror Nights as we continually seek to elevate our event with compelling, cutting edge entertainment,” said John Murdy, who serves as Universal Studios Hollywood’s Creative Director and the Executive Producer of the annual event. “Their progressive art form parallels our groundbreaking approach to creating movie quality haunted attractions and we are excited to collaborate with them to infuse their energetic Las Vegas show into our Halloween Horror Nights event.”<\/p>\n
The Jabbawockeez is the first dance crew to ever headline its own show in Las Vegas. The group is currently starring in the acclaimed ‘PRiSM’ show at the Luxor in Las Vegas, which will be followed with a newly reimagined performance at the MGM Grand this fall.<\/p>\n
Besides the Jabbawockeez’s show, Halloween Horror Nights will also feature ‘Guillermo del Toro Presents Crimson Peak: Maze of Madness<\/a>.’ The event is based on Legendary and Universal Pictures’ anticipated horror fantasy drama, ‘Crimson Peak,’ which was directed, co-written and produced by the Academy Award-nominated filmmaker. Halloween Horror Nights will also include ‘The Walking Dead: Wolves Not Far,’ which is based on Season 5 of the critically-acclaimed, Emmy Award-winning horror drama television series.
