The destruction of the seemingly strong connection of a close-knit family is powerfully explored in a new featurette for the upcoming supernatural thriller, ‘The Conjuring 2.’ The video, which is titled ‘Strange Happenings in Enfield,’ chronicles how the devoted Hodgson family moved into a home in Enfield, Englad without having any prior knowledge that it was haunted by a poltergeist. As a result, the relatives were forced to overcome their inner turmoil and bond together, in order to survive.<\/p>\n
‘Strange Happenings in Enfield’ was released by Warner Bros. Pictures, whose genre division, New Line Cinema, will distribute the movie in theaters on June 10. The film serves as the follow-up to director James Wan’s acclaimed 2013 supernatural horror film, ‘The Conjuring.’ The series’ returning helmer also contributed to the sequel’s script with Chad Hayes and Carey W. Hayes, who also co-scribed the original movie, as well as David Leslie Johnson. Wan also served as a producer on the upcoming film.<\/p>\n
‘The Conjuring 2’ features the return of series stars Patrick Wilson<\/a> and Vera Farmiga, who are reprising their roles of Ed and Lorraine Warren from the proceeding film. The sequel also features Frances O\u2019Connor, Madison Wolfe, Simon McBurney, Franka Potente, Lauren Esposito, Patrick McAuley, Benjamin Haigh, Maria Doyle Kennedy and Simon Delaney.<\/p>\n The new supernatural thriller features another real case from the files of the Warrens, who worked as renowned demonologists, notably in the 1970s and ’80s.
