The movie distributor will release the thriller in theaters on February 24, and then on VOD and iTunes on February 28.<\/p>\n<p>Chris von Hoffmann made his feature film directorial and producing debuts with &#8216;Drifter.&#8217; He also co-wrote the script for the horror movie with Aria Emory, who also stars in the movie. The duo based the thriller&#8217;s plot on a story von Hoffmann created. &#8216;Drifter&#8217; follows a pair of outlaw brothers, Miles and Dominic Pierce, who are seeking temporary refuge in a desolate town that&#8217;s inhabited by a family of cannibals.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to Emory, the drama&#8217;s other lead actor is Drew Harwood, and the two portray Miles and Dominic, respectively. &#8216;Drifter&#8217; also features James McCabe, Monique Rosario, Rebecca Fraiser and Anthony Ficco.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;&#8216;Drifter&#8217; is a stylish and wicked thriller infusing bloodthirsty cannibals with a &#8216;Mad Max&#8217; aesthetic that heralds Chris von Hoffmann as a young director to watch. We&#8217;re excited to bring genre fans his feature film debut and see what he does next,&#8221; said XLrator Media CEO Barry Gordon.
