After the success of “Godzilla” in 2014, Warner Bros. is starting to build out their “Monster Cinematic Universe” with the release of “Kong: Skull Island” earlier this year. Now WB started production on “Godzilla: King of the Monsters” to keep expanding it.<\/p>\n
I really liked “Godzilla” and I was entertained enough with “Kong: Skull Island,” so it’s going to be fun to see what WB does with the “Godzilla” sequel. One day, we’ll see Godzilla and King Kong duke it out in one epic movie!<\/p>\n
Director Gareth Edwards did a great job with “Godzilla” in 2014, so let’s see what Michael Dougherty can do for “Godzilla: King of the Monsters.” Dougherty directed “Krampus” and “Trick ‘r Treat,” so he’s used to the horror genre. The new story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species \u2013 thought to be mere myths \u2013 rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
