But those celebrated songs wouldn&#8217;t have turned out the same way if they didn&#8217;t have the contributions of their backing musicians. Those talented instrumentalists are being honored in the new music documentary, &#8216;<strong>Hired Gun: Out of the Shadows, Into the Spotlight<\/strong>.&#8217; In honor of the film&#8217;s theatrical release, Shockya is premiering an exclusive clip, which features an interview with honored music producer, Dave Foster.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Hired Gun&#8217; is set screen in several hundred theaters tonight at 7:30pm local time, courtesy of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shockya.com\/news\/2016\/10\/24\/from-dusk-till-dawn-celebrates-20th-anniversary-with-theatrical-tickets-giveaway\/\">Fathom Events<\/a>. Fans can find their nearest theater and get tickets at the movie&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/fathomevents.com\/events\/hired-gun\">home page<\/a> on Fathom Events&#8217; website, or at the box offices of participating theaters. The theatrical run comes after the documentary became a fan favorite on the film festival circuit.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Hired Gun&#8217; was co-written, directed and produced by <strong>Fran Strine<\/strong>. The movie details the highs and lows of touring life, the demands of session schedules and the dedication required to play backseat to some of rock&#8217;s most iconic musicians. These players are recognized as some of the best musicians in the world, and include Jason Hook (Five Finger Death Punch), Liberty DeVitto (Billy Joel), Kenny Aronoff (John Mellencamp), Rudy Sarzo (Ozzy Osbourne), Phil X (Bon Jovi), Justin Derrico, Mark Schulman (P!NK), Jason Newsted (Metallica), Eric Singer (KISS), John 5 (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.shockya.com\/news\/2013\/09\/02\/interview-rob-zombie-talks-the-lords-of-salem-blu-ray-dvd\/\">Rob Zombie<\/a>), Nita Strauss (Alice Cooper), Steve Lukather (Michael Jackson, Toto), Steve Vai (David Lee Roth), Paul Bushnell (Katy Perry), Jay Graydon (Steely Dan), Derek St. Holmes (Ted Nugent) and Chris Johnson (Rihanna).
