Despite his best intentions to support his growing family, <strong>Seann William Scott<\/strong> is still determined to reclaim his former professional glory as a hockey player in the official trailer and poster for his upcoming sports comedy, &#8216;<strong>Goon: Last of the Enforcers<\/strong>.&#8217; The film&#8217;s trailer premiered exclusively on <a href=\"http:\/\/ew.com\/movies\/2017\/07\/11\/goon-2-trailer-seann-william-scott\/\">Entertainment Weekly<\/a> earlier this week. <\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Goon: Last of the Enforcers&#8217; is the sequel to the 2012 Canadian sports comedy, &#8216;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.shockya.com\/news\/2012\/03\/04\/interview-the-cast-and-crew-talk-about-filming-goon\/\">Goon<\/a>.&#8217; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shockya.com\/news\/2016\/10\/21\/darren-lynn-bousmans-abattoir-haunting-homes-as-momentum-pictures-acquires-distribution-rights\/\">Momentum Pictures<\/a> will release the follow-up in theaters and On Demand and Digital HD on September 1. <\/p>\n<p>The movie marks the feature film directorial debut of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shockya.com\/news\/2010\/07\/17\/the-sorcerers-apprentice-movie-review\/\">Jay Baruchel<\/a>, who also reprises his role of Pat from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shockya.com\/news\/2012\/03\/18\/goon-movie-review\/\">first installment<\/a>. Along with Jesse Chabot, the helmer-actor also co-wrote the script for &#8216;Goon: Last of the Enforcers,&#8217; after he contributed to the screenplay for the original movie. In addition to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shockya.com\/news\/2014\/11\/08\/just-before-i-go-movie-review-savannah-film-festival\/\">Scott<\/a> and Baruchel, the sequel also stars Alison Pill, Marc Andr\u00e9 Grondin, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shockya.com\/news\/2017\/03\/03\/interview-lisa-kudrow-wyatt-russell-jeffrey-blitz-talk-table-19\/\">Wyatt Russell<\/a>, Callum Keith Rennie, Jason Jones, Elisha Cuthbert, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shockya.com\/news\/2017\/02\/16\/interview-kim-coates-talks-adventures-club-exclusive\/\">Kim Coates<\/a> and Liev Schreiber.<\/p>\n<p>Momentum Pictures has released the following synopsis for &#8216;Goon: Last of the Enforcers&#8217;:<\/p>\n<p>After one too many injuries, hockey enforcer Doug Glatt (Seann William Scott) is forced to give up his aspirations of going to the big show and settle into a buttoned down career as an insurance salesman at the urging of his pregnant wife Eva (Alison Pill).
