Sherwood<\/a>, and stars <strong>Stephen Dorff<\/strong>, <strong>Lili Taylor<\/strong>, Sam Strike, Sam Coleman and Vanessa Grasse. Lionsgate is set to distribute the origin story exclusively on DIRECTV on September 21, and then in theaters and On Demand on October 20.<\/p>\n<p>The following synopsis for &#8216;Leatherface&#8217; has been released by Lionsgate:\t<\/p>\n<p>In Texas, years before the events of &#8216;The Texas Chain Saw Massacre,&#8217; in the early days of the infamous Sawyer family, the youngest child is sentenced to a mental hospital after a suspicious incident leaves the sheriff&#8217;s daughter dead. Ten years later, the Sawyer teen kidnaps a young nurse and escapes with three other inmates. Pursued by authorities, including the deranged sheriff who&#8217;s out to avenge his daughter&#8217;s death, the Sawyers go on a violent road trip from hell, and mold their youngest child into the
