The 2017 festival will will be held October 27-29 at The Producer&#8217;s Club Sonnet Theater, which is located at 358 West 44th Street in Times Square. FEARnyc is set to feature screenings of 30 new horror movies, special appearances and a tribute to famed horror icon, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shockya.com\/news\/2017\/07\/22\/fearnyc-pay-tribute-george-a-romero-2017-edition\/\">George A. Romero<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Among the screenings that are set to be held during the Halloween weekend include a showing of Romero&#8217;s zombie genre-defining classic film, &#8216;Night of the Living Dead.&#8217; The screening will be accompanied by a live score by Ben Singer of Modern Robot. The screening is part of FEARnyc&#8217;s 2017 tribute to the famed Romero, who co-wrote, directed, starred in, edited and served as the cinematographer on the acclaimed horror movie, which was his first feature.
