Producer Jerry Bruckheimer, according to reports from MTV Splashpage and Variety.com, has acquired the rights to adapt “World War Robot”, the hit IDW comic title from Ashley Wood, for the big-screen.<\/p>\n

The comic follows a pan-galactic war between humanity and robots for dominance, following the story through diary entries from both humans as well as machines.<\/p>\n

No other news about the adaptation, which was announced at last week’s San Diego Comic Con, has been released so far. <\/p>\n
