The exploration into the impact that death has on the living is highlighted again in this year&#8217;s remake of the 1990 sci-fi drama, &#8216;Flatliners.&#8217; With the contemporary update being unveiled on Digital HD this week by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, Shockya is premiering an exclusive bonus features clip from the film.<\/p>\n<p>The digital release of &#8216;Flatliners&#8217; comes weeks before the horror movie is set to also debut on Blu-ray and DVD on December 26. The bonus content for the supernatural thriller&#8217;s home distribution includes two behind-the-scenes featurettes. The clips include &#8216;Just What the Doctor Ordered,&#8217; which catches the cast and crew reflecting on working with director Niels Arden Oplev, along with an interview from Niels on his directing style and vision. In &#8216;The Ultimate Question,&#8217; the cast and crew decide whether or not they would flatline if they could, and offer the revealing reasons behind their decisions. <\/p>\n<p>The &#8216;Flatliners&#8217; digital and Blu-ray releases are also loaded with additional exclusive bonus material, including deleted and extended scenes, plus two more behind-the-scenes featurettes. The featurette, &#8216;Reviving a Cult Classic,&#8217; explores the differences in tone, concepts and creative design from the original film and the update, and also features comments from producer Michael Douglas. In &#8216;Making the Rounds,&#8217; the cast shares what intrigued them most about their characters, as well as their experiences on the set, and their favorite film moments.  <\/p>\n<p>The new &#8216;Flatliners&#8217; was written by Ben Ripley, and produced by Laurence Mark, Michael Douglas and Peter Safra. It stars Ellen Page, Diego Luna, Nina Dobrev, James Norton, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shockya.com\/news\/2017\/08\/09\/living-boy-new-york-movie-review\/\">Kiersey Clemons<\/a> and Kiefer Sutherland.<\/p>\n<p>Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has released the following synopsis for &#8216;Flatliners&#8217;:<\/p>\n<p>Five medical students, who are hoping to gain insight into the mystery of what lies beyond the confines of life, embark on a daring and dangerous experiment.
