Terror returns home for five traumatized friends who managed to escape their kidnappers last Halloween, as they discover their worst nightmare maybe starting to come true again. The protagonists of the 2014 hit thriller, ‘The Houses October Built,’ uncovered clues that their tormentors were pursuing them again in last fall’s sequel, ‘The Houses October Built 2<\/a>.’<\/p>\n

The characters’ fright is chronicled in the follow-up, which is being released today on Blu-ray and DVD by RLJ Films<\/a>. The home distribution comes after the horror film hit theaters and On Demand last September.<\/p>\n

The Blu-ray and DVD for ‘The Houses October Built 2’ include such bonus features as deleted scenes, an uncut projection scene, the ‘Portrait of a Scare Actor 2’ featurette and the ‘Halloween Spooks’ music video. The Blu-ray and DVD are being sold for the suggested retail prices of $29.97 and $27.97, respectively.<\/p>\n

‘The Houses October Built 2’ was co-written by Zack Andrews and Bobby Roe, who also co-scribed the original film together. The latter also helmed the follow-up, after he made his feature film directorial debut on the previous entry in the horror series. Roe and Andrews also reprised their roles in the second installment, alongside fellow returning cast members Brandy Schaefer, Mikey Roe and Jeff Larson. Andrews also served as a producer on the project with Steven Schneider.<\/p>\n

In ‘The Houses October Built 2,’ five friends try to recover from the trauma of being kidnapped last Halloween by the Blue Skeleton \u2013 a group who takes extreme haunt to another level \u2013 by facing their fears in order to move on.
