Ronald Reagan is set to make history again, as the 40th president of the United States will become the first American Commander-in-Chief to receive his own hologram. The news was announced recently at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Library.<\/p>\n

The three-dimensional image of the former leader will be exhibited at the Simi Valley presidential library, where it will perform speeches from his presidency and campaign. There are no plans to make money off the hologram, which will be featured as part of the Reagan library’s permanent collection.<\/p>\n

The hologram was created as part of a team effort, said John Heubusch, the executive director of the Reagan Foundation and Institute. The Hollywood-based Hologram USA Inc., Agoura Hills-headquartered DLux Production and Digital Frontier, a Japanese company, all worked on crafting Reagan’s image together. “We took great care to represent him in a manner that was respectful,” Heubusch added.<\/p>\n
